All ASBAQ 2016 social function dinners, Message in a Bottle Welcome Dinner, “The Last Man Stranded Dinner” and the “Magnetic Moments” Conference Dinner are ticketed events. Delegate tickets and those additionally purchased for accompanying persons will be issued in your delegate lanyards.

The dress code for the conference during the day is smart or business casual, as is the first night dinner and the final night “The Last Man Stranded Dinner”.

The final Conference dinner “ASBAQ 2016 Magnetic Moments” is set to be a grand affair and as such, the appropriate attire would be formal and or cocktail.

Conference venue temperatures range from about 19 to 27 degrees this time of year. Swimming is pleasant all year round however; swimming is at its best between April and October in North Queensland. Make sure you pack your swim wear and also include layered clothing to stay comfortable.

Commencing with pre-dinner drinks on the Poolside Deck, you will be drawn to the beauty of Magnetic Island. You will be outdoors enjoying the tropical island breezes along side the ocean with stunning views in every direction.

For this occasion you will dress smart casual to prepare yourself for a fun evening full of lively music, decadent food and ambient surroundings.
