On behalf of the Organising Committee we warmly welcome your participation at the ASBAQ 2018 Conference, our biennial conference to be held at Sea World Resort 6-8 June 2018.
The theme of the conference is Future Glimpses where we will endeavor to look through the mirror of time twenty years into the future to glimpse either our future selves or our successors (if we are the lucky few who will be retired by then) and see what the future holds for our schools. What changes will technology bring and where are the enrolment growth trends forecasted for? Dare we mention what will a future government funding system look like. Will our facilities, grounds and buildings be ready to deal with the emerging trends, increased or decreased enrolment numbers and the expected directional changes in education? Regularly we hear the media talking about young people being educated for jobs that won't exist in the future, when do we adapt for this?
The conference program will include a number of well renowned presenters who will speak to the most innovative practices in the education sector. They will be joined by futurist leaders who will lead the future glimpses experience.
