All fees are quoted in Australian dollars and are inclusive of 10% Goods and Service Tax (GST).

* Member rates apply nationally and are a discounted registration rate. No additional subsidy applies. To be eligible for the member rate you must be a financial member of ASBA. All registrations will be checked to confirm membership. To check if you are eligible for membership of ASBA prior to registering click here.
** The non-member category is available to persons holding a non-teaching management role in a member school, who would otherwise not be eligible for membership of ASBA(Qld). Examples include HR Manager, IT Manager, Property Manager or Compliance Manager.

The ASBAQ2022 Conference Secretariat has confirmed rooms at the conference venue for the benefit of Conference delegates. You are encouraged to secure your accommodation through the Conference Secretariat to ensure that you receive the negotiated competitive rates. Accommodation can be booked via the registration form or by contacting the Conference Secretariat.

Payment deadlines

Registrations received by 1 April 2022 must be paid in full by 1 April 2022 in order to receive the early bird registration rate.

COVID-19 Policy

I understand that by registering to attend ASBAQ 2022, I must adhere to the current (as of May 2022) Queensland Government requirements regarding COVID Vaccination Status requirements for travelling and entering a licenced and ticketed venue.

I acknowledge that should COVID vaccination be a mandatory requirement for travelling to Cairns or entering venues in May 2022 and I am unable to show proof of my vaccination status, I will be unable to participate in ASBAQ 2022.

I also acknowledge I will not qualify for a refund of registration or accommodation payments.

Please note, you will be required to check in to all venues in Cairns using the Queensland Health Check in App. You may be required to show proof of COVID vaccination status upon registration collection at ASBAQ 2022. We recommend you link your vaccination certificate to your QLD check-in App in preparation. All venue, supplier and conference on-site delivery team will comply with Queensland Government (should this be Federal and State) COVID Vaccination requirements.

Registration Cancellation Policy

Deadline: 29 April 2022

Cancellations must be notified in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the Conference Secretariat. Cancellations made by 29 April 2022 will result in a full refund less $150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person by 29 April 2022 without incurring any cost penalty. Refunds for cancellations received after 29 April 2022 will only be made in exceptional circumstances. The Conference Secretariat must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.


All best endeavours will be made to present the program as printed on this website. The Conference and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Conference Postponement

In the event of a postponement all registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Conference dates. All components of your registration including accommodation bookings, Welcome Reception RSVP and Conference Dinner RSVP will also be transferred. If you are unable to attend on the new dates, you may contact the Conference Secretariat to request a transfer of your registration to a colleague at no cost, or request a cancellation and refund which will incur a $150 administration fee up until the Registration Cancellation Deadline.

Conference Cancellation

In the event of the cancellation of the Conference, all registrations and associated components of attendance will be cancelled and amounts refunded in full.
